β¦ Synopsis
The stability of fixed-lag smoothers for linear system state estimation is considered. The main result proved is that the smoother is unstable when the usual set of conditions hold which guarantee asymptotic stability of the optimum filter.

## Abstract The criterion for testing the influence of smoothing algorithms for the relevant parameters considered in analytical experiment is presented. The proposed approach assumes that the improvement of the whole set of measured curves should be considered. The calibration curve parameters wit
In this note, new criteria for the global asymptotic stability and the global exponential stability of a class of uncertain time-lag systems with time-varying delays are proposed. A numerical example is given to illustrate our main results.
