โœฆ Synopsis


It is shown that the equilibrium BBGKY equations are not equivalent to the Kirkwood-Salsburg (KS) equations. Instead, the BBGKY equations only imply that their solution must belong to a Banach space to which the solutions of the KS equations also must belong. Conversely, any element of this Banach space is shown to be a solution of the equilibrium BBGKY equations.
