✦ Synopsis
This paper considers a set of three coupled Riccati equations. The solution of these equations constitutes necessary conditions for mixed It2 and Ho~ control problems. The main contributions of the paper are related to the conditions under which the solution of these equations is unique as well as to characterize necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions. ## Abstract The crystal growth process of Zn(Met)(AcO)~2~·H~2~O from the mixed solution of water and acetone has been investigated using a Calvet microcalorimeter. The heat produced and the rate of heat production during the crystal growth process at 298.15, 301.15, 304.15, 307.15 and 310.15 K have
