✦ Synopsis
By means of a device described elsewhere (BECKERS and SCHROTER, 1968) we obtained spectra of the quiescent photosphere in the Fe line 2 6173 A (9 =2.5) simultaneously in the two opposite circular polarizations. Two sets of spectra with good spatial resolution were selected to measure and to correlate the continuum intensity, the Doppler shift and the magnetic field of small details on the sun.
