β¦ Synopsis
A subset of Euclidean space is said to satisfy the rectangle property if no rectangle has exactly three vertices in this subset. According to Besicovitch and Dnazer, circles are characterized by this property among convex curves. Here, more general characterizations of this type are presented.

## Abstract We give __direct proofs__ of the convex compactness property for the strong operator topology in __Lebesgue spaces__ for compact or weakly compact operators. We also show how this tool applies to spectral theory of perturbed semigroups. Some nonβweakly compact operators arising in pertu
Tensile and fatigue properties were studied on three kinds of segmented polyether polyurethanes developed for blood pump applications. To study the effects of plasma constituents, specimens were immersed in a cholesterol-lipid solution whose composition is similar to that of plasma. The results obta
