✦ Synopsis

BOTH the sublimation and vaporization curves of pure substances have been studied extensively and a wealth of data and numerous empirical equations have been obtained. Using mathematical methods, this paper re-derives some known properties of the entire condensation curve from zero temperature to the critical point in a simpler manner and obtains new properties for the first time.
