โฆ Synopsis
On the Preparation of CdTe Junction Detectors for Nuclear Radiation Spectrometry Because of the high mean atomic number (2 = 50) and its rather broad energy bandwidth CdTe is a well suitable semiconductor detector. Moreover, a better thermal stability compared with Ge(Li) drift detectors is to be expected (BAILY; BELL et al. 1. an energy of (4,Q 2 0,l) eV to form an electronlple pair (ZANIO et al.). At 300 O K for electrons the mobility amounts to 1050 cm . Vd-' and for holes to 80 cm2 . Vd-' . The best known impurity levels a r e shown in Figure 1. 03h ' c d N' cd *uw LiCd

A procedure that permits rapid development of an optimized solid phase extraction (SPE) method for the analysis of drugs in plasma by on-line solid phase extraction-mass spectrometry (SPE-MS) has been developed. This procedure employs the concept of manipulating the pH and the percentage of organic
Preparative high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) coupled to tandem mass spectrometry has been used successfully for the isolation of several drug metabolites from urine. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy has been employed to determine the exact chemical structure of these metabo
A simple reversed-phase nano-column purification and sample preparation technique is described, which markedly improves the mass spectrometric analysis of complex and contaminated peptide mixtures by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI). The method is simple, fast and utilizes only lo
