Using several currently available techniques, including Baker's method, Frey curves and modular forms, we prove that for odd values of k with 1 k < 170, the equation
in positive integers x, y, n with n > 2 has only the trivial solution (x, y) = (1, 1).

The main purpose of this paper is using the mean value theorem of Dirichlet L-functions to study the asymptotic property of the sums analogous to Dedekind sums and give a sharper first power mean value formula.
