## Abstract The superbasic mixture of butyllithium and potassium __tert__‐butoxide is powerful enough to enable the double proton abstraction from one __ortho__ and one __ortho′__ position of 4,4′‐di‐__tert__‐butylbiphenyl. In this way, a series of functionalized derivatives becomes readily accessi
