The pictorial representation of the magnetic screening tensor as tensor ellipsoid (half axes /i/a,> is inconvenient. Much more obvious is an ovaloid with half axes uii. The shape of this ovaloid is described in the dependence on the diagonal elements oI1, uz2 and ms3 of the principal axes of the screening tensor.
