β¦ Synopsis
Using a non-linear Hirt stability analysis, it is shown that on applying the Phoenical Lax -Wendroff method to solve the inviscid form of Burger's equation, the advection speed is modified to reduce the dispersion errors in the shock region.

## Abstract This paper compares two formulations of LaxβWendroff TVD methods. The basis of comparison is to the results of several test problems providing both qualitative and quantitative results. Results show that using an upwind biased limiter provides higher resolution of both smooth and discon
## Abstract This paper applies the LaxβWendroff technique, usually used in fluid dynamics, to transmission line sensitivity analysis. A secondβorderβaccurate LaxβWendroff difference scheme for sensitivity analysis of both uniform and nonuniform transmission lines is derived. Based on this scheme, a
