β¦ Synopsis
We investigate the disentanglement of the well-known bulk phase transition from a possible finite temperature phase transition in the adjoint representation SU(2) lattice gauge theory modified by a center-blind Zz monopole suppression term in the action. The phase structure of such a theory is studied with the help of various parameters: twist variables, Polyakov loop and the Pisa disorder parameter.
We find an indication for a finite temperature transition decoupling from the bulk phase transition.
