The effects of gamma-radiation on all stages of the hide beetle Dermestes maculatus, DeGeer were studied. Eggs of D. maculatus were more susceptible to gamma radiation than other stages. Egg radiosensitivity decreased with increasing embryonic development. An absorbed dose of 200 Gy killed the 1st,
