In recent years, the generalized multipole technique GMT and other fictitious source methods ha¨e been widely used to sol¨e electromagnetic scattering problems. Ne¨ertheless, these methods ha¨e been shown to be ¨ery sensiti¨e to the source locations, and often produce ill-conditioned matrix systems.
