Abstract

The diffusion‐limited thermodegradation of a poly[ethylene‐co‐(methyl acrylate)] rubber was studied using an original pinpoint dynamic mechanical analysis (PDMA). The importance of the temperature of the analysis in the physical and mechanical determination of oxidation profiles was clearly illustrated. The variations of the tan Ξ΄ (Ξ΄: loss angle) at the glass transition temperature allows the determination of the apparent activation energy of the diffusion‐limited thermooxidation phenomena.

## Abstract __Background and Objectives:__ The Nd:YAG laser can be used in Dentistry to remove soft tissue, disinfect canals in endodontic procedures and prevent caries. However, there is no protocol for Nd:YAG laser application in dental bleaching. The aims of this in vitro study were: (a) to obse
