✦ Synopsis

The quasistatical shakedown behaviour of elastic-plastic bodies is investigated under the assumption of small strains but finite displacements. A condition guaranteeing shakedown is obtained. Two methods for the treatment of particular problems are presented and one of them is illustrated by the example of avon Karman-type plate.
