This paper gives a method for computing the reduced poset homology of the rank-selected subposet of a distributive lattice. As an example of the method, let L be the lattice S b acts on L by permuting coordinates. For S ⊆ [ab], we give a description of the decomposition of the reduced homology of L

This paper concerns Floer homology for periodic orbits and for a Lagrangian intersection problem on the cotangent bundle T \* M of a compact orientable manifold M. The first result is a new L ∞ estimate for the solutions of the Floer equation, which allows us to deal with a larger-and more natural-c

For a simplicial complex 2 and coefficient domain F let F2 be the F-module with basis 2. We investigate the inclusion map given by : { [ \_ 1 +\_ 2 +\_ 3 + } } } +\_ k which assigns to every face { the sum of the co-dimension 1 faces contained in {. Among shellable complexes a certain class is shown to have maximal modular homology, and these are the so-called saturated complexes. We show that certain conditions on the links of the complex imply saturation. We prove that Coxeter complexes and buildings are saturated.
