The gamma (A 2 S / -X 2 P r ) system of the nitric oxide isotopomers 14 N 16 O, 15 N 16 O, 14 N 18 O, and 15 N 18 O, excited in the anode glow of a two-column hollow-cathode discharge tube, was recorded in the spectral region 2140-2730 A Λunder medium resolution. β¦ Synopsis
With the aim of investigating the resonance system of NO, equivalent width calculations have been made for the 213.575 nm, O1(31.5) line of the 1-0 band of y-system of NO for the photospheric HSRA model, and for the line 214.012 nm, O1(25.5) line of the same band system for Zwaan's (1974) sunspot model.
Calculations show that 3,-band system would not show up in the photospheric spectrum whereas a sunspot model yields an equivalent width of 72 m~, suggesting that sunspots may provide relatively more favourable conditions for the detections of the resonance systems of some abundant molecules in the inaccessible ultraviolet region.

The visibility in the umbral ultraviolet spectrum of the 02 Schumann-Runge absorption band system has been explored. It is found that the band system may be visible in high dispersion sunspot spectrum.
## Abstract Irradiation (IR) of cells is known to activate enzymes of mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK) family. These are known to be involved in cellular response to stress and are determinants of cell death or survival. When radiotherapy is delivered to malignant cells, macrophages, being r
