Computer experiments for diffusion and dispersion in a capillary tube have been used to learn something of the functional dependence of the dispersion vector, ($), and the dispersion coefficient, K. At short times we find the latter to be a function of time and strongly dependent on the concentration gradient. DISCUSSION F= c-(c) (8)
