✦ Synopsis

In this paper, we demonstrate that Ewald's method can be employed to speed up the con¨ergence of complex images as well as quasidynamic images in the spatial-domain Green's function of planar periodic structures in layered media. A comparison of the con¨ergence speed of Ewald's method ¨ersus spectral summation is gi¨en.
