A Lennard-Jones and an "exp-6" potential function for neon are investigated for the possible existence of a bound state of a neon molecule, by a method used by de Boer in the case of helium. It is concluded that there exists a bound state with an energy of about 5 × 10 -5 atomic units (~ 0.002 eV).
We develop the formalism to study the hyperon-nucleon interaction potential within the boundstate approach to the SU(3) Skyrme model. The general framework is illustrated by applying it to the diagonal AN potential. The central, spin-spin and tensor components of this interaction are obtained and co
