Abstract

For the formation of a solid compound from a gaseous substance and a liquid at not too high pressures the relationship between the standard heat of formation of the compound, its actual heat of formation under equilibrium conditions and the heat quantity calculated from the slope of the three‐phase line gas‐liquid‐solid is discussed (equations XIV and XV). In sections 4 and 5 reference is made to the case of a solid compound formed from two partially miscible liquid substances as well as to the case of high pressure equilibria.
