โœฆ Synopsis

The Superintendent of the Nautical Almanac has pointed out to me that there is some mistake in the conversion of Q and $ into da and Ad in my ephemeris of Castor in A. N. 3525. The cause of this was the substitution of sin for cos in that reduction by one of my assistants. For the equinox 1900.0 we have: Aa = +0'2773 cos (53" 1 5 ' + B ) -00'0981
