New experiments on the crystal structures of the tm-rrch mtermedrate phases ~s,,\_r~, ~a,+=~, Ben-Ho and @m,\_~e are briefly reported. All four phases crystallize in the simple hexagonal structure. The latter may be regarded as formed from the white tin structure by the simple displacement, along t
