One of the new paradigms in wireless communications that is going to prevail in the next few decades is ad hoc networking.Β *Ad Hoc Wireless Networks* seeks to explore this paradigm shift in wireless networking and presents topics ranging from the basic principles of networking and communication sys
## Abstract This paper discusses a routing scheme for an autonomous distributed wireless network (mobile adβhoc networking) using an ultraβwideband (UWB) system. The UWB system is a kind of spreadβspectrum communication system which has the function of measuring the distance between the transmitter
## Abstract The increasing need for mobility in networks and computing leads to the deployment of wireless networks without fixed infrastructure, called ad hoc networks. These networks raise new challenges towards monitoring and managing them to provide optimal performance. We propose in this paper
