## Abstract A new circular‐polarization (CP) design of an annular‐ring microstrip antenna operating at the fundamental TM~11~ mode is presented. The CP radiation of the proposed design is achieved by connecting an L‐shaped strip to two orthogonal sides of the inner boundary of the annular‐ring patc
