β¦ Synopsis
The role of the potential of intermolecular force in determining properties of gases at elevated temperatures is discussed, and the following points are emphasized. (a) The calculation of accurate values of such properties requires potential parameters which are valid at interaction distances which are important at the temperatures in question.
