✦ Synopsis

This paper deals with the critical elliptic equations of Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg type

, and h and k are continuously bounded functions satisfying some symmetry conditions with respect to a subgroup G of O(N). By using a variant of the concentration-compactness principle of P. L. Lions together with variational methods, we obtain several existence and multiplicity results of positive G-symmetric solutions under certain hypotheses on h and k.
