✦ Synopsis

We study stationary solutions of the relativistic Vlasov-Maxwell system of plasma physics which have a special form introduced (in the classical setting) by Rudykh, Sidorov and Sinitsy and establish their existence under suitable assumptions on the ansatz functions.

The relativistic Vlasov-Maxwell-Fokker-Planck system is used in modelling distribution of charged particles in plasma. It consists of a transport equation coupled with the Maxwell system. The diffusion term in the equation models the collisions among particles, whereas the viscosity term signifies t
We introduce a new identity satisfied by solutions of the Vlasov-Poisson system. It has the property that all quantities which appear have a definite sign, and this allows us to prove new results on the time decay of the solutions in the plasma physical case.
