Abstract

We suggest some new ways to effectivize the definitions of several classes of simple sets. On this basis, new completeness criterions for simple sets are obtained. In particular, we give descriptions of the class of complete maximal sets.

This paper contains some general comments on the algebra of truth values of fuzzy sets of type 2. It details the precise mathematical relationship with the algebras of truth values of ordinary fuzzy sets and of interval-valued fuzzy sets. Subalgebras of the algebra of truth values and t-norms on the

The Cayley group membership problem (CGM) is to input a groupoid (binary algebra) G given as a multiplication table, a subset X of G, and an element t of G and to determine whether t can be expressed as a product of elements of X. For general groupoids CGM is P-complete, and for associative algebras

This is shown in Fig. 4 for a quench from -40Β°C to -17.5%. For comparison, the results for a quench downward in temperature from 0Β°C to -17.5% are also shown. In Fig. 4 the average relaxation rate was obtained from the initial slope of the anelastic strain curve and thus is proportional to the volu
