The projection of Octopus vulgaris motor chromatophore fibres on the body surface is revealed by sectioning the brain nerves. The denervated areas remain pMe and, therefore, allow to determine the pattern of nerve projection. Ten of the approximately 30 nerves leaving the O. vulgaris brain contain c
