This paper gives an overview of relevant performance measures for a multistate monotone system, observed in a time interval J. Flow network systems are an important class of these systems. The computation of these measures are discussed. Some easily computed approximation formulae are established. The accuracy of these formulae are studied by making comparisons with results obtained by Monte Carlo simulation.
