McNemar's test is often used to compare two proportions estimated from paired observations. We propose a method extending this to the case where the observations are sampled in clusters. The proposed method is simple to implement and makes no assumptions about the correlation structure. We conducted

โฆ Synopsis
Rank correlation measures are deยฎned for directional data based on measures of distance. Angularยฑ angular as well as angularยฑlinear correlations are considered. Asymptotic distributions are obtained for statistics based on Spearman and Kendall measures under the null hypothesis of no association. The results are applied to two sets of data. The ยฎrst consists of pairs of wind directions, whereas the second involves data on wind directions and ozone.

Subjects often drop out of longitudinal studies prematurely, yielding unbalanced data with unequal numbers of measures for each subject. A simple and convenient approach to analysis is to develop summary measures for each individual and then regress the summary measures on between-subject covariates
A ยฎeld instrument was designed and ยฎeld tested for measuring the applied wind load on trees and surface-mounted obstacles in a natural boundary layer. Using this instrument, the eect of vegetation porosity on the drag coecient of small conifer trees (h 1 . 4 m) was determined directly in the ยฎeld. D
## Abstract In this report, we present results of a genomeโwide linkage scan using as a phenotype the number of externalizing symptoms associated with alcohol use disorders. Subjects were collected by the Collaborative Study on the Genetics of Alcoholism project from families in which at least thre
