In the theory of inelastic behaviour of metals we study an example of a monotone plastic constitutive equation, which does not belong to the class of the self-controlling models . Existence and uniqueness of solutions for this model is obtained in Orlicz spaces using the external coercive approximation [7] and the Minty-Browder method.
