The kinetics of the "cold crystallization" of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) pre-orientated yarns are investigated both in isothermal and in non-isothermal dynamic conditions. The amorphous-crystalline, solid-solid transformation is analyzed in terms of the Avrami equation and of Ozawa's theory.
