## Abstract Membrane inlet mass spectrometry (MIMS) has been developed for the on‐line monitoring of compounds in a continuous stirred tank bioreactor (CSTB) used to simulate a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). A mixture of four industrially relevant nitrogen‐containing volatile and semi‐volatile
