✦ Synopsis
The use of sensors in industrial applications requires the possibility of on-line detection of sensor failure. This is especially necessary for chemical sensors. The present paper describes the background and application of a method for the detection of aging effects in potentiometric solid-electrolyte oxygen-gas sensors.
