A high-resolution inelastic neutron scattering (INS) spectrum has been observed for trans-polyacetylene films in the range 8-4000 cm-1 at 6 K, and compared with the calculated INS spectrum based on the force field obtained in our previous study. The peak positions as well as the overall intensity pr
