The hydrodynamic force model for prediction of forces on submarine pipelines as described includes flow history effect (wake effects) and time dependence in the force coefficients. The wake velocity correction is derived by using a closed-form solution to the linearized Navier-Stokes equations for o

β¦ Synopsis
The processing path model based on the conservation principle in the orientation space allows us to optimize processing path from a given initial state to a desired final microstructure for polycrystalline materials. This model uses texture coefficients in spherical harmonics expansion as descriptors to represent the texture state of polycrystalline materials. In this work, the effect of increasing the number of texture coefficients used in the series expansion (decided by l max ) on the prediction accuracy of texture evolution is investigated.

## Abstract A twoβdimensional model representing flow and nitrate transport in groundwater was developed and applied to a hillslope of the Kervidy catchment. The objective of the modelling was: (1) to characterize better the flow and nitrate transport in the groundwater and to determine the charact
The hard chromium plating process aims at creating a coating of hard and wear-resistant chromium with a thickness of some micrometres directly on the metal part without the insertion of copper or nickel layers. Chromium plating features high levels of hardness and resistance to wear and it is due to
