โœฆ Synopsis

It is shown that the neglect of radiative losses by Antiochos and Sturrock (1976) in investigating conduction cooling is not justified. It is further shown that the anomalous current dissipation leads to substantial amount of heating contrary to remarks made by Ionson (1982).
