✦ Synopsis

El Naschie proposed in Chaos, Solifons & Fracfafs, 5, 1551-1555, 1995 [l], a complex time measure and demonstrated in this connection that massless particles may. under such conditions, achieve an infinite velocity whilst adhering to all prerequisites of the special theory of relativity. The aim of the present paper is to generalize this result in the presence of a relativistic gravitational field. The method is based on Einstein's equivalence principle whereby the action of a gravitational field on a test particle is locally compensated by a suitable choice of the acceleration of the particle. 0 1907 Elsevier Science Ltd

The idea of complex time, as first proposed by El Naschie in 1995, not only provided a very important mathematical utility in clarifying the nature of nowness, but also opened a definite possibility for the instantaneous transmission of information through the theoretical prediction of massless part

In the weak-field approximation, some implications of duality in the Weyl-Dirac (WD) theory, using the Gregorash-Papini-Wood approach, are investigated. Any particle is in a permanent interaction with the Ôsubquantic levelÕ (MadelungÕs fluid) and, as a result of this interaction, the particle acquir
