The system under investigation is treated as a network of material currents, to which the network equations obtained by generalization of the laws of electrical networks are valid. These equations can be stated with knowledge of the topological relations of the technological scheme and the equilibri

✦ Synopsis
The present study deals with a digital computer version of the method described in the previous theoretical part. The study describes program structure of the so-called procedure ~-rWORK and provides guidance for its practical use. As illustration a problem associated with a chemical plant is disclosed, the size of which demonstrates vividly its performance.
GENERAL PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Computer application of the method comprises the following operations and their algorithmisation:
(a) Creation ofstandard program blocks expressing pressure drops and otber equilibrium parameters of the technological devices.
