✦ Synopsis

Attempt hee been made in thie paper to estimate certain parametera (data perteining to which am either not available or essily reportable) of the human reproductive p r o m aa the period of p tpartum ammenorrhoee (P.P.A.), number of foetal wastages in between live births eta., wing a truncated negative binomial probability model. In View of the hypotheab that the probability of foetal wastegea variee from mother to mother, the truncated negative binomial distribution hee been compounded by weighing with the beat prior Beta distribution of the parameter. Estimation has been made by ~u c d v e approximation wing the method of momenta.

## Abstract This paper deals with optimal designs for Gaussian random fields with constant trend and exponential correlation structure, widely known as the Ornstein–Uhlenbeck process. Assuming the maximum likelihood approach, we study the optimal design problem for the estimation of the trend Β΅ and

Fecundability studies, where couples attempting pregnancy subject to 'failure' (conception) one time in each menstrual cycle, present a natural discrete failure-time scenario. Because the biologic capacity to conceive varies among couples in the population, a complication arises in choosing a method
