In this article a characterisation of the Gumbel's Bivariate Exponential Distribution is established on the basis of the propertiea of the conditional expectation of the component variables. The characterieing property is propoeed as the definition of lack of memory in the biveriate case.

Suppose X,, X,, ..., X, are independent and identically distributed random variables with absolutely continuous distribution function F. It is known that if F is standard normal distribution then (i) 2 X : is a chi-square with n degrees of freedom and (ii) nX2 is a chi-square with 1 degrees of freed
We show that two well known characterization theorems for the exponential distribution, based on the lack of memory property and independence of successive spacings, can be used to characterize other absolutely continuous distributions useful in modelling precipitation and stream-flow data. ## Abstract A cured thermoset composed of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A and __m__βxylylene diamine as the cure agent was studied with different thermal analysis techniques, including differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), and dielectric analysis (DEA). DSC was
The purpose of this article is to examine the effect of values on the decision to join voluntary philanthropic associations by a select group of elite African American women. Specifically, the research seeks to understand how values, self-concepts, and learning influence a group of prominent African
