## Abstract Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease characterized by autonomic failure, parkinsonism, cerebellar ataxia, and oligodendrocytic accumulation of alpha‐synuclein (αsyn). Oxidative stress has been linked to neuronal death in MSA and the mitochondrial toxi
