✦ Synopsis
Hexacoordinated ruthenium(II) alkenyt complexes of the type Ru(CO)(CR=CHPh)(N~-'S)(PPh3)2 have been prepared from coordinately unsaturated o--vinyl complexes [Ru(CO)CI(CR=CHPh)(PPh3)2] (R = H or Ph) and the sodio-derivative of the Nr'S containing heterocyclic ligands [N~'S = 3,4-substituted 1,2,4-triazole-5-thione and 5-alkylthio-l,3,4-thiadiazole-2-thione] in a CH2C12/ MeOH mixture at ambient temperature. The complexes were characterized by their elemental analysis, i.r., ~H and 3~p n.m.r, spectra. An octahedral structure with transphosphorus ligands has been assigned on the basis of the spectral data.
