If you dont want to cut curved sections as the start of your boatbuilding , you can have a look to this 5 meters long ocean crossed boat plans. You can build the boat with fiberglass. Sven uses expensive , high density , high stiffness , extra thick big plastic foam boards and these sections are for them. This boat is boxy. If you have the material , cut , place and fiberglass. I think you can build the boat or glue two layers of 9mm thick with epoxy, you can cut , bend first 9mm ply , wait to epoxy set and than apply the second cut plywood with epoxy adhesive.
