✦ Synopsis

We present two alternative observer-based H, control design methods for linear dynamic systems with delay in the state. Based on the Riccati-equation approach, we design observer-based feedback control laws that guarantee the asymptotic stability if the closed-loop control system and reduce the effect of the disturbance input on the controlled output to a prescribed level.

## Abstract This paper deals with the problem of robust __H__~∞~ control for uncertain linear neutral delay systems. The parameter uncertainty under consideration is assumed to be norm‐bounded time‐invariant and appears in all the matrices of the state‐space model. The problem we address is the des
