โฆ Synopsis
During a study of sections of thyroid glands made on pure bred and hybrid dogs from Dr. C. R. Stockard's Experimental Colony a survey of the vayiations in abundance and locus of the so-called parafollicular cells has brought out certain facts which may throw light on the nature of these cells.
The long known Wolfler 's interfollicular epithelial cells of the thyroid have been observed by various workers : Wegelin, Webber, Bernard, Florentin, Nonidez arid Zechel. I n general these cells have been considered to be undifferentiated elements of embryonic nature. However, in recent years the opinion has been against this view.
