## Abstract Scanning electron microscope (SEM) investigations on the holdfast elements, proboscis hooks, and trunk spines of __Dentitruncus truttae__ (Acanthocephala, Palaeacanthocephala), an endoparasite of __Salmo trutta__ (brown trout), provide more data about the surface of these taxonomic rele
